It really was when you were 13 years old and had done the same thing on those same beaches!!!! We’d go out swimming at midnight on those same beaches( marthas vinyard and Nantucket)Esp since we would splash a lot at midnight swimming to see the phosphorus on our skin….we had no clue it attracted sharks!!
We were just learning how to smoke the filtered cigs pilfered from our parents…it was magical..those summers. Never even occurred to us. Oh to be young and immortal again-:)
