I could TOTALLY see my dog doing the same thing. I have a 100 gallon tank in my yard for cold plunges--still in the 30s/40s here. I let the dogs out while I plunged the other day, and Liam (92% German Sheppard, 8% Saint Bernard...he's a tall drink of water) came up and began licking me while I was in the water.
At least he didn't try to jump in the water with me.
