Earthing, also known as grounding, is the process of directly connecting with the Earth and using its natural electric charges to stabilize the body and mind. This technique restores the connection between the body and the electrical currents of the earth.

When your bare feet or skin comes in contact with the earth, free electrons are taken up into the body. These electrons are nature’s most potent antioxidants and help neutralize damaging excess free radicals that can lead to inflammation and disease in the body. The Earth is a conductor of free electrons and so are all living things on the planet, including humans.
The human body is composed mostly of water and minerals which in combination are excellent conductors of electrons from the Earth providing there is direct skin contact or some other conductive channel for them to flow through.

The soil was soothing, strengthening, cleansing, and healing."
It's easy and free to give earthing a try, no matter who you are or how much time you have, although at least 30 minutes a day is recommended.
Just walk outdoors, take your shoes off and put your bare feet on the ground. If you're older and you have to sit, grab a chair and sit in it in the backyard with your bare feet planted on the ground. You will notice all of that tension in your body release.
